About Jane
Jane is a civil litigator with over 10 years’ experience working with entities and individuals to provide practical, insightful and strategic litigation advice.
Jane has appeared at every level of court in Alberta, as well as the Federal Court of Canada. She also has experience with various regulators, including the College of Physicians & Surgeons, the Law Society of Alberta, the Alberta Securities Commission, the Veterinary Association, the Human Rights Commission and other administrative and regulatory bodies. Jane’s broad range of experience as a litigator has given her a strong foundation to obtain relief inside and outside of the courtroom.
Jane has extensive experience in employment law matters and regularly advises both employers and employees on agreements, policies, privacy matters, restrictive covenants, termination, severance, transactions and wrongful dismissal claims.
Jane works with clients, opposing counsel and the Courts to resolve matters in a timely and effective way, allowing her clients to get on with their lives and businesses. She is perceptive, persuasive and diligent in her knowledge of the facts and the law.
